Role

As a founding AI engineer, you'll play a key role in architecting, implementing, and deploying projects that impact the lives of millions of patients.

You'll develop a cutting edge search and retrieval product, design and ship beautifully simple user interfaces, and architect systems to make the world’s medical knowledge accessible.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure
• Develop infrastructure for low-latency search and retrieval systems
• Research and develop novel search and retrieval techniques that leverage LLMs
• Ingest, index, and process datasets comprising of millions of complex documents
• Play a key role in shaping our engineering organization and company culture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in product-driven companies
• Experience across frontend, backend, and data processing systems
• Proficiency in Python, Typescript, PostgreSQL
• Passion for AI and LLMs
• Strong opinions about code quality with pragmatic delivery
